Marvel’s Super Hero Squad Show offers a ton of fun games and activities but their Create Your Own Comic application is one of the best of its kind I’ve ever seen (which is as you would expect, considering it’s Marvel.) I’d like to thank Diigo user Kate Tabor for sharing it with me.
The service is of course completely free and highly intuitive, suitable for middle- and upper-elementary students and beyond. It’s a supremely visual, a drag-and-drop environment where kids can create either a short comic strip or pages and pages of an actual comic book (just like Comic Life).

Jeopardy Labs lets teachers and students create their own online games of Jeopardy. No registration is required, and each game has its own unique url address.
